A constable is an elected or appointed peace officer, often operating at the local, county, or precinct level, responsible for both law enforcement and judicial duties. A Constable must be able to uphold the law, as well as protect the public against abuse of power. It is their responsibility to hold themselves to a higher standard, something others in our industry seem to have forgotten.
Having been involved in Public Safety and Service since 2006 and earned the Rank of Eagle Scout, Aaron C. Reynolds has spent every year since serving the community; not only here in Fayette County, but in many parts of Kentucky. His Professional Life consists of his time as a former Communications Officer with the University of Kentucky Police Department, and current Director of a Nationwide Public Safety Dispatch Center. He also serves as a Major with an off-duty police and security agency, operating in 5 states.
He is the recipient of many awards for his service to his community, most notably, the UNCAS from Scouting’s National Honor Society’s own Kawida Lodge. The UNCAS is bestowed upon those that have significantly contributed to the legacy of the lodge, and strengthened it through outstanding service and involvement. It stands as a Lifetime achievement award, and is bestowed upon one youth and one adult member per year.
